Duke got its first ACC win in South Bend Wednesday night, taking down Notre Dame by a score of 75-65. Despite missing Jalen Johnson, whose injured foot was announced a day before the game, the Blue Devils played the best game we’ve seen from them all season, and at least by the end, it wasn’t as close as it looks. To Notre Dame’s credit, their 3-point shooting kept them in the game throughout the 2nd half while Duke was knocking on the door of a blowout. Dane Goodwin had 25 points for the Irish, while Duke was led by Matthew Hurt with 18, DJ Steward with 16, and Jeremy Roach with 14.
More to come.
