A Brief Louisville Recap and NC State Game Notes

I’ll start this off by apologizing for my absence– I had a school trip immediately after the Louisville game and wasn’t able to give a recap or score for it. There wasn’t much that I could’ve said, however: I’m pretty sure I speak for the college basketball world when I say that I was at loss for words. Duke was down 23 with under 10:00 to play. They actually won. It’s a testament to the fact that this team just does not quit. Silencing crowds is what they do: that U of L crowd was rocking. They went dead silent at the end. Here’s the highlight reel:

If you watch Joey Baker, when the Cardinal lead is cut to 14 about 1:10 in the video, he says this:

“Right now! We’re doing this!”

I could go on and on with this one but it’s time to move on to NC State. The Wolfpack is something else this season– and not in a good way. First they’re approaching top ten status and next they’re scoring 24 points. Yeah, that happened. NC State is still a dangerous team, though, and has capable scorers, despite having fallen asleep on that historically bad night against Virginia Tech. The score was 47-24.

Defensively for the Wolfpack, they may have different schemes to take on RJ Barrett and Zion but simply don’t have the size on the interior. Be on watch as this is a good candidate for a game that the two of them take over.

Here are your game notes.
